Things to do on it

Practise letters and numbers

Open the paper menu (the grid button) and pick Handwriting: a solid top line, a dashed middle line and a solid baseline, like a primary-school exercise book. Write a letter in one colour, then trace over it in another.

Count and draw shapes

Switch to Grid paper to colour squares for counting, draw arrays for early multiplication, or make pixel pictures. The rectangle and circle tools draw tidy shapes for sorting games.

Play games

Noughts and crosses, hangman, dot-to-dot and “draw what I describe” all work on one shared screen. Use the eraser or undo to start the next round, or clear the board from the export menu.

For grown-ups

Nothing here asks for a name or email, and boards are stored only in this browser’s local storage. You can wipe every saved board at once on the privacy page. Teachers who want a countdown timer and present mode can use the classroom whiteboard; for a dark, chalky look try the online blackboard.

Questions people ask

Is this whiteboard safe for kids to use?

There is no chat, no account, no ads and no way to contact other people. Drawings stay in the browser on the device being used and are never uploaded. The only network request beyond the page itself is cookie-free, anonymous page-view counting.

What age is it for?

Children who can hold a finger or stylus steady can scribble, and early writers can use the handwriting lines. The page starts with thick markers and bright colours; older children can use shapes, sticky notes and text from the same toolbar.

Does it work on a tablet or iPad?

Yes. Draw with a finger or an Apple Pencil, pinch to zoom and use two fingers to move around. Tap the full-screen button so the board fills the tablet and the page doesn’t scroll while drawing.

Can my child undo a mistake?

Yes. The curved-arrow button at the top undoes the last stroke, as many times as needed, and redo brings it back. The eraser removes whole strokes it touches.

How do I save or print a drawing?

Open the export menu (the purple arrow button) and choose Download PNG for a picture or Download PDF to print. The board also autosaves, so it’s still there next time on the same device.
